As per a report by Breitbart, LeEco has paid nearly $143 million more than what Yahoo had incurred to acquire the land back in 2006. Incidentally, the plot located near Levi Stadium, which the Chinese firm has now acquired at a rate of $5.2 million per acre had been lying unoccupied for the past few years and was only being used occasionally for parking a few vehicles. The report further reveals that LeEco is approved by the city government to build a 3 million square feet office space, housing nearly 12,000 employees on the aforementioned plot....
Late August 27, LG officially took the wraps off their second Android Wear wearable. The LG G Watch R is a round smartwatch, and bears slightly better specifications than the original G Watch it launched earlier in 2014. Unfortunately, the manufacturer didn’t elaborate on an exact launch date, or how much the new smartwatch will cost when it finally does arrive on the market. A German press release may have spilled the beans, though....
Apple has today removed its online store listing for the 21.5-inch LG UltraFine 4K Display. This is the smaller and more affordable USB-C display option at $700 compared to the 27-inch 5K version of the monitor which sells for $1,300. We heard earlier in the week that the 21.5-inch UltraFine Display wasn’t showing up on Apple’s online store in the UK, and now the product has been removed from the US store....

In what could be among the last few leaks before the LG G3 is officially announced, a demo unit of the phone has surfaced in leaked photos taken at a retail store in South Korea. Since it’s a dummy unit, it’s not the hands-on we would have liked, but the pictures do give us a good overview of the hardware. There’s nothing new or different here than what we’ve already seen – the photos confirm features like the ultra-thin bezels on the front and what is said to be a laser autofocus sensor on the back of the device....
Rumors are starting to pick up steam as the G6‘s big debut nears. The latest batch effectively confirm what LG has already teased on at least one occasion. First, according to CNET, the upcoming LG G6 will feature a non-removable battery. That’s a pretty big departure for the Life’s Good crew up to this point for its flagship smartphone lineup. However, the report indicates LG is going the non-removable route this time around because the G6 will indeed be water-resistant, something the company has teased in the past....
Although we are learning about the launch of OnePlus’ new wireless earphones now, the company already put out hints for the same with a tweet a few days back. It did not, however, specify anything related to the specifications or the features of its upcoming earphones. Moreover, at the point, we do not have an insight into the product, nor do we have renders or first look teasers for the same....

Last month at Mobile World Congress, Lenovo launched the Vibe K5 Plus. Today, the company has launched the smartphone in India, which will be sold exclusively through Flipkart in the country. The handset is essentially a rebranded a Lemon 3 — the moniker under which it is sold in China. The 8.2mm thin handset sports a 5-inch Full HD display, and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor and an Adreno 405 GPU....

Unlike in the case of the Vibe X, where the hardware played a distinct second fiddle to design, in the Vibe X2, Lenovo went out of its way to prove that the device was not a “dumb blonde” (as one Lenovo executive put it), and put its hardware on par with the design. Apple has faced criticism from lawmakers for several reasons recently, including its presence in China and its repair programs. Now, The Washington Post reports that Apple is being questioned for using its focus on user privacy as a “guise for anti-competitive behavior.” The concern comes from Congressman David N. Cicilline, a Democrat from Rhode Island who serves as chairman of the House Judiciary antitrust subcommittee. Earlier this week we shared drawings of Apple’s upcoming 4-inch device and reported that Apple plans to call the device the iPhone SE. Now, French site NowhereElse has shared images that claim to show the front display portion of the upcoming device. We’ve long reported that the iPhone SE won’t feature support for 3D Touch, and these images corroborate that. 3D Touch, a flagship feature of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, works by taking advantage of a pair of capacitive touch sensors beneath the display....
Sony unveiled the X Series of devices with Android on board back in February, but now it looks like there’s a new C Series handset on the way. The images were initially published on the Chinese forum, Baidu, and surfaced by Xperia Blog.
