Samsung has teamed up with Asiana Airlines to launch a special edition of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus in Korea, its home market. The Asiana edition of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus can be purchased between April 7 to April 17 — the same time during which the normal edition of the handsets will be on pre-order. LG today announced that its next flagship smartphone will be the first ever to use a plastic OLED FullVision display. This will be LG’s second smartphone after the G Flex 2 in 2015 to make use of its OLED display. If it was not already obvious, LG is referencing the V30 in its announcement here which it will be officially unveiling on August 31st at IFA 2017 in Berlin. LG confirms that the V30 will sport a 6-inch QHD+ (1440 x 2880) OLED display, with support for 148 percent sRGB color space, 109 percent DCI-P3, and faster response times which makes the display ideal for VR....

The LG G Flex is the world’s second phone to ship with a flexible display. Samsung’s Galaxy Round was the first, but that doesn’t really matter since it’ll never leave South Korea, whereas the G Flex is scheduled to come to Europe and the United States in early 2014. But enough back story, I want to talk about the successor to the G Flex. You know as well as I do that a (good) phone takes at least two years to develop, and that before the G Flex was even announced, the company was already drawing up the sketches for the G Flex II....

The device that Microsoft introduced is the 300e, a 2-in-1 system that includes pen support for the Windows version. However, Lenovo is also offering the 300e in a Chromebook edition for the same $279 starting price. The Chrome-running version lacks pen support and relies on a MediaTek MTK 8173C processor instead of the Intel Apollo Lake CPUs that the Windows 300e will ship with. The leaked image confirms earlier speculations which suggested the LG V40 ThinQ will feature a total of five cameras, three on the rear and two on the front. In addition, the phone will have a notch at the top and a narrow bezel at the bottom of a 6.4-inch QHD+ screen. The camera arrangement houses two front-facing snappers — an 8-megapixel lens coupled with a 5-megapixel secondary lens and three rear sensors — a main 16-megapixel sensor, a second 12-megapixel one with a wide-angle lens, and a third 8-megapixel camera with a telephoto lens....

The leaked picture of Sense 6.0 shows off Blinkfeed, one of the highlighted features of the current-gen One, making full use of the transparent status bar and navigation bar APIs introduced by Google in KitKat.
