After missing for the majority part of 2017, Lenovo is back with its new mid-range handset: the Lenovo K8 Note. The company unveiled the handset at an event in Delhi, India. Previously, Lenovo used to unveil its new handsets in China first before bringing them to India a few months down the line. This time around though, the company held the K8 Note’s global launch in India. Struggling in the wake of heavy competition from the likes of Xiaomi, Oppo, Huawei, and Vivo, Lenovo has been missing from the smartphone market for quite a few months....

The reputed tipster further leaks that the LG Q6 will come with the same 18:9 display as found in the G6. This falls in line with Technobuffalo’s previous report which also reveals that the smartphone would have nearly 80% screen to body ratio. The LG Q6 is expected to come with a smaller 5.4-inch display. For the uninitiated, the LG G6 comes with 5.7-inch (2,880x1440p) IPS LCD panel. The alleged LG Q6 has apparently cleared FCC with the code name of M700....

The LG G5 has turned out to be a huge dud for the company. While the company sure had a novel idea, the poor execution has let the company’s 2016 flagship handset to be a huge disaster. Now, as per a report from ET News, LG plans on releasing the V20 in early September in hopes to boost its sagging smartphone sales, and make people forget the LG G5....

A majority of LG’s revenue came from its home appliances and TV business. The South Korean firm reported a record 61.4 trillion won ($55.4 billion) revenue from its electronics business throughout the entire span of last year. Out of this, a whopping 16.96 trillion won ($15.3 billion) came from the last quarter of the past year, thereby recording a 14.8% increase over Q4 2016. Overall, LG Electronics revenue went up by 10....

On October 1, LG officially debuted the V10, an Android-based smartphone that features a large display, but boats a secondary display for good measure. Now, at the tail-end of the month, both AT&T and T-Mobile have come forward to announce launch plans for the unique handset. Starting with the Big Blue carrier, AT&T says the handset will go on sale online beginning Tuesday, October 27. For those that prefer to check out the handset in a store before deciding, the carrier says the handset will be available in its retail stores beginning Friday, November 6....

A handful of images have emerged this morning claiming to show the upcoming iPhone 8 with rear-placed Touch ID. The images come from Chinese site iPhoneros and are the clearest look yet at a design that has seemingly been at least prototyped by Apple… One iPhone 8 aspect that continues to lack consensus is where Apple will place the Touch ID sensor. Some reports have claimed that Touch ID will be located beneath the iPhone 8’s display, while others have said it will be placed on the back due to manufacturing difficulties....

Thanks to numerous leaks we already know a fair share about the upcoming Pixel 4a. The only piece of missing information was the launch date and availability. Well, now even that seems to be out in the open. A German blog has got its hand on an internal Vodafone Germany document that says the phone will be available with carriers starting from May 22. The May 22 date makes sense since it is rumored that Pixel 4a will be launched between May 12-14....

Earlier this month, I published a list of three accessories I want to see Samsung release during the second half of 2013. One of them was a “USB key with full sized and micro sized USB ports”. Well, I’m happy to announce that such a product now exists thanks to a company called “Leef Technology”. The Lenovo K9 is a budget-oriented smartphone with a few features that make it seem more expensive than what it costs. For starters, both the front and back sport 2.5D curved glass which is a rarity in this segment. Then there’s a USB Type-C port which again, is usually found on more premium smartphones. Actually, it is so simply that it makes you think why it took a company so long to come up with something like this. What makes the device impressive, besides the stylish looks, is the fact that there’s almost no bulk on the back, even if it embeds such a capable camera sensor....

Continuing to hype the LG G6 before its launch, renowned industrial designer Torsten Valeur said in an interview that the G6 has a “great design”, with the “ideal fusion” of “beautiful shape and clever solution.” The designer further adds that the G6 is comfortable to hold while still giving a “very firm, secure grip.” The designer then further goes on to praise the design of the G6. LG today announced that its upcoming flagship handset, the V20, will be the very first smartphone to feature a built-in 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC that will allow it to deliver excellent audio quality and experience. Last year, LG had set the bar in audio experience with the built-in Hi-Fi DAC on the V10, and it looks like with its successor this year, the company is set to raise the bar once again....
