With less than a week to go for Mobile World Congress, LG has gone ahead and announced four new mid-range Android smartphones: the LG Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy. With its new budget mid-range handsets, LG is aiming to bring the design and features that it has usually reserved for higher-end models to the masses. All the four handsets will be available with 3G or LTE depending on your region, with the latter models featuring a metallic back cover to distinguish them from the former....

LG is going to hold a press conference on August 7th in New York City where they’re going to announce their next flagship phone, the G2. The LG G2 (great name, right?) will have a 5.2 inch 1080p screen, Snapdragon 800, and other top of the line specifications. Lenovo today launched the Vibe K5 Note in India, successor to the popular Vibe K4 Note. Alongside it, the company also surprised many by launching an updated variant of the Vibe K5 Plus with more RAM. The Vibe K5 Note features a unibody metal design, a first for Lenovo’s Vibe Note series of handsets. The front of the handset houses a 5.5-inch Full HD panel that is flanked by capacitive navigation keys sitting below it....

LG has been unveiling the G4 component by component before its final and big reveal on April 28. However, thanks to a official microsite from LG and @evleaks, whatever surprises LG had reserved for the final event has been leaked. Firstly, the images give us our clearest look at the LG G4, which looks unmistakably like an LG handset. If the leaked image is anything to go by, the front bezel on the G4 seems to have actually increased in size compared to the G3, which already had slightly bigger bezels than the G2....

Lenovo CEO Yuanqing Yang spoke to CNNMoney about his company’s recent acquisition of Motorola from Google today.
