Reset Advertising ID on Android The steps for resetting your ad ID and turning off ad personalization are essentially the same for all versions of Android, though things may vary slightly. LG Chem has developed a hexagonal battery to be used in smartwatches that are up to 25% more energy efficient than traditional rectangular batteries. The hexagonal battery will allow OEMs a bit of a leeway in designing their smartwatches as it will allow them make better use of the limited space inside the wearable. LG Chem states that their hexagonal battery can increase the battery life of a smartwatch by up to four hours....

LG’s upcoming flagship, the LG G5, has leaked in its first live photos that give us a clear look at its new design and dual-camera setup at the rear. And that’s not all, the phone has been listed on an e-commerce website for sale at 2,500 dirhams (~$675$). The handset in picture was obtained by one lucky guy, which was imported from the United States, and is now selling it on Dubizzle — even before the handset has been officially unveiled by LG....

LG W10 Alpha: Design and Display In terms of design, as already mentioned, the LG W10 Alpha features a 2D Arc Design and comes in only one color option: Black. Towards the front, it has a 5.71-inch FullVision display that includes a RainDrop notch at the top, which is LG’s equivalent of a teardrop notch, housing the front-facing camera. Reported by Ars Technica, the type of attack is called ‘Light Commands’ and was discovered by researchers at the University of Electro-Communications and the University of Michigan. Light Commands make it possible to hack Siri, Google Assistant, Alexa, and more from a distance as long as the attacker has line of sight to the device’s microphones. LG Innotek today announced that it has developed an ultra slim optical bio sensor module for wearable devices, and is capable of measuring heart rate, stress levels and oxygen saturation levels. Compared to other existing solutions on the market, LG’s bio sensor module consumes lesser power and provides more accurate readings. LG boasts that the module has a thickness of only 1mm, which they have managed to achieve by using their advanced embedded PCB technology that involves directly embedding ICs into the PCB to reduce the overall thickness....

Yesterday, LG announced its newest flagship smartphone, the G6. Unfortunately at the time, LG didn’t reveal a launch date or price for the upcoming flagship. But the wait to reveal a launch date, as far as South Korea goes, is over. Droid-Life reports that in a new interview, LG’s mobile chief, Cho Juno, confirms that the G6 will launch in South Korea on March 10. Any additional information regarding other international markets, including in the United States, weren’t provided....

LG launched a smartphone called the Optimus G in September of last year. Two months later, we’d find out that it was the phone Google decided to use as a template for the Nexus 4.
