LG has already teased that it will be launching the V30 at IFA 2017 on August 31. After the failure of the G6, LG now plans to bring the V30 to a wider range of market especially since the previous V series handsets have done so well for the company.  Now, Android Authority reports that after its unveiling on August 31, the LG V30 will go on sale in South Korea on September 15. Following its Korean launch, the handset will go on pre-order in the US on September 17 and hit the retail stores on September 28. The leaked document obtained by the publication does not mention any European release date, but it does mention that the handset will launch globally on September 28. Unlike the previous LG V series handsets, the V30 is not going to sport a secondary display at the top. Instead, it is rumored to be LG’s first phone to make use of its own OLED display with a secondary ticker display being placed at the bottom. The handset will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset, pack 4/6GB RAM, 64GB storage, 3300mAh battery, wireless charging, and a dual-camera setup similar to what is found on the LG G6. After the staggered launch of the G6 and a slight difference in specifications in variants sold in the US, Europe, and Korea, LG will be looking to launch a single variant of the V30 across the globe this around.
