LG today announced two new handsets with the G4 branding: the G4 Stylus and the G4c. While the G4 Stylus is a budget phablet device from LG and comes with a stylus, the G4c is a smaller variant of the company’s flagship handset — the G4. The G4 Stylus comes with a 5.7-inch 720p HD IPS display, while the G4c comes with a 5-inch display of the same resolution. Internally, both handsets are nearly the same and are powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, sport 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and a microSD card slot. The G4 Stylus will also be available in 3G only variant in selected markets that will be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core MediaTek processor.
While the G4 Stylus comes with a 3,000mAh removable battery, the G4c is powered by a 2,540mAh removable battery. As its name suggests, the G4 Stylus also comes with a stylus along with features like Laser Auto Focus, Gesture Shot, Glance View and Knock Code. It also features a 13MP camera on the rear and a 5MP front shooter. The G4c skimps on some of these features and only comes with Gesture Shot, Glance View and Knock Code, along with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. The G4 Stylus (a.k.a G Stylo in North America and Korea) will be available in Metallic Silver or Floral White colors, while the G4c will be available in Metallic Gray, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold.
