At the tail-end of October, Google took the stage at an event and announced one of the newest Nexus-branded smartphones, the LG Nexus 5X. While the device technically went up for sale soon after the announcement finished, the Life’s Good grew took to an official press release to announce that the Nexus 5X is launching today, October 19, in “key markets” across the globe. That essentially means that the Nexus 5X is now available in Ireland, the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, India, and Korea. New markets will roll out in the “coming weeks” in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. Pricing remains the same, and the Nexus 5X is available only in the Google Store. The 16GB Nexus 5X is available for $379, while the 32GB Nexus 5X is available for $429. Interestingly enough, LG says that there will be wider availability of the Nexus 5X from “major carriers and retailers” at some point in the future, but doesn’t provide any dates. Do you plan on picking up a Nexus 5X, or are you opting for the Nexus 6P?
