LG has recently announced the LG G6 smartphone’s lite variant which is the LG Q6. The LG Q6 smartphone also comes with a full-vision display same as the LG G6 but the smartphone doesn’t have the premium build similar to the LG G6. Now, in continuation with the LG Q series of smartphones, the company has launched the LG Q8 smartphone. Talking about the LG Q8, the smartphone is dubbed as the mini variant of the LG V20 smartphone which was launched by the company earlier. As far as the smartphone is concerned, LG Q8 sports thick bezels on the top and bottom of the display, unlike the LG Q6 which has a full-vision display.

Talking about the LG Q8’s specifications, the smartphone comes with a 5.2-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) IPS display offering a pixel density of 564 PPI and 500 NIT of brightness. There is also a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on the top for extra protection. The Always-on secondary display comes with 1040 x 160 pixels resolution. Under the hood is the 64-bit Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. There is 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expandable technically up to 2TB via MicroSD card slot.

Talking about the camera present on the smartphone, the LG Q8 has a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP secondary sensor with 135-degree wide-angle lens and f/2.4 aperture. It also comes with dual LED flash and offers 0.5X optical zoom. For selfies, there is a 5MP sensor on the front with 120-degree wide-angle lens and f/1.9 aperture. To power the device, there is a 3,000mAh non-removable battery and the company claims that the smartphone can deliver up to 4 hours of talk time and lasts up to 100 hours on standby mode. Apart from that, the LG Q8 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
