LG was expected to launch the mini variant of the LG G6 smartphone and the phone was rumored to be called the LG Q6. Now, the company has launched the LG Q6 smartphone along with its two other variants. Earlier, LG launched the LG G6 smartphone at the MWC in Barcelona and the smartphone was made available later in markets all around the world. The LG G6 is also the flagship smartphone from the company for this year and the smartphone came with a bezel-less display as well as premium design. Now, the LG G6’s mini variant, the LG Q6 also comes with a bezel-less display which is called by the company as Fullvision display. However, the LG Q6 is a mid-range smartphone and the design of the smartphone is same as the other mid-range smartphones out in the market.

Talking about the specifications, the LG Q6 comes with a 5.5-inch FHD+ FullVision display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The LG Q6 comes in three variants- the LG Q6, Q6+ and Q6 alpha. As far as the variants are concerned, the three variants cater to different user groups in terms of memory and storage: the Q6+ comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM, the base Q6 delivers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and the most affordably-priced Q6α comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB of ROM. Apart from that, the smartphone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 chipset and runs on the latest version of Android which is the Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

One major drawback on the LG Q6, however, is that the smartphone lacks a fingerprint sensor which is now normally seen on every smartphone whether it is a budget or a mid-range smartphone. The availability and the pricing details of the smartphone have not been known yet but the company has revealed that the smartphone will go on sale in Asia next month.
