LG today announced that the G4 will be the “first in the world” to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The Korean company will start rolling out the update for LG G4 owners in Poland from next week. After Poland, LG will continue rolling out the update in markets like Europe, Asia, and America over the following weeks and months. LG did not provide a full set of features and changes that it has with Marshmallow on the G4, but it did highlight the new permissions manager of the OS; the simplified volume control and Do Not Distrub mode; and Doze that will greatly helps in improving the battery life of your the handset. Last year, LG was the first OEM to update their flagship Android handset to Lollipop, and this year the company has managed to repeat the feat with the G4. The Korean company’s UX might not exactly be beautiful, but LG sure is making up for it by delivering quick OS updates to its devices.
