In an industry where most OEMs have been struggling to earn profit, LG has been doing particularly well. This is further corroborated with the fact that the G3 will soon become the first smartphone from the Korean company to exceed the 10 million sales mark.  The company revealed to the Korea Times that its latest flagship will soon breach the 10 million sales figure, making it the first smartphone in its history to achieve this feat. The handset has been on sale for only less than two months now, which means that LG is selling nearly 5 million units a month of the G3. Compared to the iPhone 5s and the Galaxy S5 sales numbers, 10 million might not seem like a huge number but it does show that LG is doing something right in an industry where other OEMs are struggling to sell their devices and make profits. For a company that once released the disastrous Optimus 2X, LG sure has come a long way and learnt a lot in the process.
