LG announced the G3 towards the end of last month but its availability outside of Korea has pretty much been a mystery until now. LG is clearing this mystery today by sending out a press release that contains details about the rollout plan of its latest flagship. The LG G3 will begin its global rollout from June 27 where it will first reach Asian customers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines. This will be followed by the rest of Asia, Middle East and Europe in July. LG’s press release does not mention anything about the availability of the G3 in the United States, which means that potential customers will have to wait until their carrier reveals the handset’s release date. The press release also confirms that only the G3 units sold in Europe and Asia will feature wireless charging for “additional user convenience”, allowing users to charge the device via any Qi compatible wireless charger.
