The act of roaming around the open world and continuing to collect stuff is pretty straightforward. Replaying story missions and levels, however, requires more digging than you might expect. How to Replay Missions and Levels in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
There are two ways to replay story missions and levels, one of which involves many more steps than the other. Because of this, we’ll begin with the more straightforward option.
While playing The Skywalker Saga, press your platform’s equivalent to the select button. This would be a view button on an Xbox controller or the touchpad on a PlayStation controller. This opens up the galaxy map by default. Tab over using the shoulder buttons until you reach the Episodes Tab.
From here, you can select any of the unlocked episodes, with a drop-down list of every story mission within that episode. This menu lets you select whether you want to play in story mode or free play mode, which lets you swap to any character from the game’s extensive roster.
For the more convoluted approach, you can replay missions or levels by physically visiting the locations at which you initially activated the missions. For example, the Chewbacca Defense mission from Episode VI, which is also where you get access to the engineer’s glider and net launcher, is only accessible from the Ewok Village.
If you wanted to replay that mission level, you’d have to open up the galaxy map to select Endor, then travel to Ewok Village. Once there, you would look for the mission start point, indicated by a floating hexagonal icon with arrows situated in the middle. Instead of wandering around aimlessly, you can press down on the directional pad on a controller to bring up that location’s map. The story levels are indicated by the same hexagonal icon described above.
