Locken first joined reality TV on Big Rich Texas where she was a sidekick to the president of the Fashionistas which was a social circle within Dallas. Then, she has moved on up to the role of the leading lady with The Real Housewives of Dallas, but her outspoken personality is wearing her co-stars and fans thin. The newly married Locken has always been very open about her past which consisted of growing up working at a carnival and suffering from sexual molestation at a young age. Regardless of how much fans loved how open she was, it was her outspoken personality and questionable decisions that got her into trouble on the Bravo show.

Back in December, the reality star had to publicly apologize for racially insensitive remarks against co-star. LeeAnn always has expressed what she felt, letting her anger take over but she went too far this time, leaving fans to call for her removal. The women of The Real Housewives franchise are dropping like flies and Locken announced she was the latest casualty. People reported that the one-time fan favorite would not be returning for the show’s fifth season. The ex-circus performer explained the last four years had been a “trolley-slapping good time” but in the end, she had come to the decision to step away from The Real Housewives of Dallas - check out her farewell Instagram post below:

The 52-year-olds decision did not come as a total shock to fans after last season’s horrendous outbursts. Fans were curious to see how Bravo would handle such ugly sentiments especially with the turmoil going on within the country. During the reunion, most of her fellow castmates were in agreement that they felt she acted with racist tendencies. The reality star thanked her supporters for sticking with her after a challenging season and that she was looking forward to leaving the cameras behind.

The Dallas housewife said she would now turn back to her first love of philanthropy with the continued mission of helping others. Before Locken stared on the popular franchise she had made a career as a model and made it into the top ten in the Miss USA Pageant. Many believe that it was the right call for Locken to leave The Real Housewives of Dallas and wonder if she was being pushed out by the network. The cast will need a shakeup as Locken brought a lot of drama to the city of Dallas.
