The trailer has a similar feel and tone to the Unreal franchise that gave Blezinski his fame, but has a higher focus on specific character/class gameplay. Characters like the Assassin and the Gunner made a display in the trailer, which concluded with the groundstomping presence of the Titan class. Each character showed off abilities that are absolutely believable from their class titles, such as a sword/grappling hook combo from the assassin.

In interviews, Blezinski has emphasized his current infatuation with the eSport and FPS titan Counter-strike: Global Offensive. He has repeatedly said that the “easy to learn - difficult to master” mantra for the game has had a huge impact on his design philosophies for LawBreakers. In a way, you can already see that in the small snippet this trailer gives us.
LawBreakers, however, will not have to destinguish itself from Counter-strike, but from games of its own genre. The impending release of Blizzard’s Overwatch and Valve’s ever-popular Team Fortress 2 will have something to say about the newly founded Boss Key Production’s addition to the mix.
